Terms & Conditions

Payment terms:

 

  •  A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total accommodation amount is required to secure your reservation.

  • Any additional charges incurred during your stay are payable on departure.

 

Entrance and Conservation Fees (Balule Private Nature Reserve Grietjie):

 

  • Car Entry (valid for 7 days): ZAR 300 per car payable at the gate by card.

  • Conservation Fee: ZAR 50 per person, per night, payable at the lodge by card.

  • Cardholder & ID/Passport must be present at check-in.

  • Credit card used for the online payment must be present at check-in.

 

  • We are a no smoking facility, please respect this.

  • No pets allowed

  • No parties/events, unless agreed

  • No visitors allowed, unless agreed

  • Quiet hours are between 22h00 and 08h00

 

Liability: 

 

  • Tulani manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge shall be under no liability to the client for any claim which may arise in respect of or in connection with the stay. The client hereby renounces for himself, members of his group and dependants all claims against the directors and it’s staff of the guesthouse for compensation for injury, damage or loss, whether sustained in and around the guesthouse or elsewhere or as a result of delays or otherwise, caused directly or indirectly to him/her or his/her belongings, members of his group and his/her dependants or to persons who, except for these conditions, might have been entitled to make a claim howsoever arising and whether caused or occasioned by any grossly negligent act or omission or default by Tulani Manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge.

 

  • *The carriage, handling or keeping of any baggage and /or other goods of the client will be at the sole risk of the client or its owner and Tulani Manor &  Tulani Boutique Lodge and it’s staff members shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused.

 

  • Whilst Tulani Manor &  Tulani Boutique Lodge will endeavour to ensure that accommodation, food, drinks and other such services are available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature whatsoever against Tulani Manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge for a refund, either in whole or in part or of any other claim of any nature whatsoever including consequential damages as a consequence of accommodation or other facility attached.

 

  • All exclusions or limitations of liability claimable by Tulani Manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge, shall apply equally to and may be claimed by agents, servants and representatives of Tulani Manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge as fully and as effectually as if they were Tulani Manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge.

 

Cancellation:

 

  • If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

  • If cancelling 999 days before arrival, forfeit 30% of the booking total.

 

Children policy:

 

At Tulani Manor & Tulani Boutique Lodge we welcome families and strive to create a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Due to the nature of the wilderness environment and shared spaces, the following policy applies:

 

Accommodation – 

 

  • Selected rooms or family units are suitable for children.

  • Children under 16 must share a room with at least one adult unless occupying a designated family suite.

 

Supervision – 

 

  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially in unfenced areas and on game drives.

  • For safety reasons, children are not permitted to walk unaccompanied between rooms and main areas after dark.

 

Dining –

 

  • Please notify us before your arrival the age of the children in your group so we can accommodate your needs.
